Been Denied for a Home Loan? Get a Second Opinion

Being denied for a mortgage by one lender doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t qualify for a home loan. Different lenders have different guidelines, loan programs, credit requirements, and underwriting options. As a mortgage broker, I have access to more than 160 lending sources, allowing me to look beyond the programs offered by a single bank or retail lender.

If you’ve recently been denied because of a low credit score, self-employment income, debt-to-income ratio, limited down payment, previous credit issues, or a unique financial situation, let me take a second look.

Depending on your circumstances, options may include VA, FHA, conventional, down-payment assistance, bank-statement, ITIN, or other alternative mortgage programs. In some situations, manual underwriting or a different approach to documenting income may also help.

Before giving up on buying a home, get a second opinion. There’s no obligation to find out what options may be available to you.
